Day 46

Today we took our pods off of our plant and counted the amount of seeds we got in total. In the beginning our group planted 4 seeds in total and we ended up with 17 seeds at the end. My plant produced 6 seeds and Dainels produced 17. Our other 2 partners plants didn't produce any seeds. We recorded how many seeds were gotten by each group and the total was 89 seeds. The most one group had was 26 seeds and the least one group produced was 1 seed. In all we gained 65 more seeds in our class because there were about 24 seeds planted in the beggining.

Day 41

Today we took our last pod Measurments and didn't water our plant. Next week we plan to get our seed out of their pod. One of my pods has grown 1/4 inch and my other pod has not grown and since the last measurment.

Day 39

My plant's buds are still the same. One is 1/2 inch and the other is 1 inch. Both of the pods seem like they have seeds in them but hopefully the will show soon. My plant is about 9 inches tall and I watered it 15 drops of water.

Day 37

My plant has 2 pods now and one is 1/2 inch and the other is 1 inch. Hopefully they keep growing and seeds come out soon. There are no flowers left on my plant still and I have watered it 10 drops of water.

Day 34

Today we took the flowers and flower buds off of our plant to try and concentrate the energy to the pods and produce seeds faster. I had to take off about 9 flowers and 1 flower bud but there is 2 pods. Hopefully the seeds start to get produced and they start showing.

Day 32

My plant is about 8 inches tall now and it still has a couple flowers. I tried to pollenate again today but I already have one pistol that is 1 nigh long. I watered it 15 drops of water and hopefully a new pisol shows up soon.

Day 29

My plant is about 7 inches all and it has grown a lot more flower buds. I watered it about 15 drops of water and it has some more flowers. The pisol of my pollinated plant is really swollen now and I hope a seed comes soon.

Day 26

My plant is about 7 inches tall and a lot have flower pedals have fallen off. There is still a couple flower buds but most have turned to flowers. I watered it 10 drops of water and I have also pollinated one of my flowers. The pistol is swollen on the plant and I hope that a seed comes soon.

Day 22

Over the weekend my plant grew 1 and 1/2 inches and it is now 6 inches tall. The internode length is now 1 and 1/2 inches tall. My plant had 1 flower before I left for the weekend and now it has 9! I have watered it 10 drops of water panda I still have 3 flower buds.

Day 19

My flower is now 4 and 1/2 inches and again grew another inch over night. There is still 12 flower buds but there is also a flower! The internode length is still 1 inch and I have watered it 10 drops. Another flower bud looks like it's about to become a flower. 

Day 18

My plant has grown 1 inch and is now 3 1/2 inches tall. There is still 12 flower buds but one looks like it's about to become a flower. The plant internode length is now 1 inch. I watered my plant 10 drops of water and I hope that flowers will appear. 

Day 17

My plant has grown to 2 3/4 inch and it now has 12 flower buds. The plant still has 6 leaves and the internode is still 1/2 inch. I watered it with 10 drops of water and I hope to see a flower soon. 

Day 16

My plant did not grow in height but there is now 6 leaves. There is also now 8 flower bud but still no flower. I watered it 10 drops of water and I hope to see a flower in the next few days. 

Day 15

My plant is now 2 1/4 inches tall and it has 6 flower buds. I put 10 drops of water in my plant and my plants internode length is still 1/4 inch. I hope that the bud start growing and flowers start to show. 

Day 10

M .My plant is now 1 and 1/2 inches tall and it has 4 leaves. The internode length is now 1/2 inch. Right now there are no flower buds or flowers. I put more soil in mine and I put 1 1/2mm of water in it.

Day 9

My plant's hypocotyl is now 1 and 3/8 inches and the length between the two leaves is 1/8th of an inch. I watered my plant with 1 mililiter of water and hope to see some change. Right now there is no flower bud and there is 2 leaves. 

Day 8

Our plants have all grown and my plants hypocotyl is now 1 and 3/8ths inches long. Right now there is no flower bud but there might be soon.

Day 5

We picked the two best seeds and we put them in soil. We also have another group in our styrofoam container. My plant is A2 and my partners is A1. We will now only be measuring the hypocotyl and the amount of leaves.

Day 4

All 4 of them have increased in size and some more then others. The 2 on the right were the shortest yesterday and today they are slightly bigger then the 2 on the left.

Day 3

The hypocotyl has started to grow and the roots are still getting longer. The roots have increased in size by at lease 1mm and at most 3mm. The hypocotyl length is at least 3mm for each plant. We hope to see more change within the next few days.

 

Day 2

There is small white roots coming out of each seed. One seeds root is 4mm while the other 3 roots are 2mm. There is no hypocotyl right now but there might be soon.

Day 1

Day 1: We put a wet paper towel into a Petri dish and put 4 seeds on the towel. We want to see if anything happens tomorrow.
